AMAZING WATERFALL, SURROUNDED BY WOODS, ROMANTIC, INTERNET, SMART TV, GAS LOGS

No pets, no exceptions
If one of the things on your bucket list is to sleep beside a waterfall, this house is for you!  There is a waterfall and creek right beside the house.  You can sleep with the windows open and listen to the waterfall all night.  

Moonshadow's Mountain is ideal for a couples retreat or romantic getaway (sorry, no four-legged guests). Located in Bat Cave, North Carolina, it offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 half bath, and sleeps 6 comfortably. There are 2 queen beds and 1 king bed.  Kitchen is fully stocked. DRIP COFFEE POT.  Enjoy rocking on the covered porch and listening to the waterfall.  This home is 10 minutes  from Chimney Rock State Park and 11 minutes from Beach at Lake Lure and approximately 40 minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).  Downtown Hendersonville is approximately 30 minutes away and Asheville is approximately 45 minutes away.
There is a Smart TV in the living area for you to enjoy. The downstairs is aligned with windows looking out to the beautiful scenery.

Smoking is prohibited in all our of our vacation rental homes.
Pets are not allowed in this home or on the property.
Parking for 2 vehicles. There is parking for 2 passenger vehicles, no oversized vehicles, RVs, trucks or trailers at this property.  You must cross a small one lane bridge.
Gas logs available from October until end of May.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time (or later).
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time (or earlier).
In addition to the rent, the following charges apply:

In the state of North Carolina, the Real Estate Commission requires Property Management companies to have a signed contract from guests. Prior to check-in, we will request a copy of guest ID, as well as vehicle model, year, and tag number.

Beautiful Home and Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home surrounded by nature. Everything we needed was waiting for us when we arrived and the management company was wonderful making sure everything was perfect for us. Definitely recommend staying at this home.

Nestled in the woods for peace and quiet
If you are looking for tranquility nestled in the woods near a relaxing stream and waterfall, then look no further. Amazing setting and close to local attractions! Great way to spend a long weekend!

HAD SUCH AN AWESOME STAY WITH THE FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS, THE WATER FALL AND RUNNING STREAM WAS THE CHERRY ON THE CAKE. THE ONLY REASON IT I DIDN'T RATE IT 5 STAR, WAS THE FACT THAT WE HAD TO STRIP OUR BEDS BEFORE LEAVING, A CLEANING FEE IS INCLUDED IN PAYMENT, THE ELECTRICITY WENT OUT 5 TIMES DUE TO THE RAIN AND HIGH WINDS, GOOD THING I CARRIED CANDLES, ANYWAY, THIS WAS A GREAT GETAWAY AND WE WERE SO BLESS TO WAKE UP TO SNOW ON CHRISTMAS MORNING. THIS MADE MY TRIP EXTRA SPECIAL, I WOULD ABSOLUTLY RECOMEMD MOONSHADOW MOUNTAIN AND ALREADY PLANING MY NEXT TRIP. THANK YOU AND I'LL SEE YOU SOON.

Wonderful house and property
The house is beautiful and the property is magical, especially for a family with small kids. The only two reasons this isn’t five star: 1) the beds were uncomfortable, especially in the master bedroom. Otherwise we couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Quaint home great location
Great location but hard to get to at night. Beautifully finished living space. Calming waterfall and creak. Quiet except for hourly church bells. Cable does not work due to weak internet signal, but you are in the mountains.

Loved the house and the property. Perhaps to make the stay better- more chairs for the porch- if the house sleeps 6 there should be 6 chairs. Larger dinning room table. In addition to bringing blankets tell guests to bring chairs for the fire pit. I had originally looked for a place near Black Mountain- had I known it was 40 min away might not have booked it- but so glad we did. Loved being close to Chimney Rock, Asheville and Black Mountain. This could be a good way to advertise- that you are close to many locations.

Peaceful
This house was so nice, so peaceful and relaxing - the mountain stream & gorgeous water fall that was visible from the porch was the ultimate destination. It was designed very nicely, modern and we would definitely go back! Just wish we had had more time there to read, relax, cook out - but wedding took a lot of our time. Only thing I would suggest would be a patio table & chairs on the porch for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacking! Other than that - we all thought it was perfect!

Beautiful House in a Beautiful Location
LOVE this house! It was very clean (and clearly pretty new), and had all sorts of nice amenities, including a very well-stocked kitchen, which is always a huge plus when renting a house. I just loved the design of the house and its setting immensely. Plus, there was nice bedding and good quality towels. The only thing missing from perfection would be a hot tub! I can't remember whether we dealt correctly with the thermostat, but we DID clean up, and lock up, and got a good head start on the necessary laundry.
