Best Trip
Our family of 4 had the best trip to Lake Lure. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Even though we had never been to Lake Lure, Knotty by Nature just felt like home. The back porch, fire pit and hot tub helped make memories our family will never forget. It is a short drive to Rumbling Bald where we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, putt-putt, beach, and pontoon boat. Happy we stayed at Knotty by Nature
A very comfortable cabin that was wonderful for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were a good size and had very comfortable mattresses. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of towels for our 4 night stay.The location of Knotty by Nature gave us easy access to the lake and pool at Rumbling Bald. We were drawn to this cabin by the location (and the fun name). It was really a great place for our blended families to relax and play. We packed our trip with a lot of family hiking and waterfall days, so we weren't able to spend much time at the resort. But it was nice to have those resort amenities available in case one of our families needed to get away for a bit. This was our very first trip together, and everyone had a blast. Our children had enough space to play together and separately if a quiet spot was needed. Roasting smores by the fire pit surrounded by trees was fun for all. We also enjoyed the hot tub each night after a long day's hike. Thank you for such a fun vacation, we will definitely be back. (Hopefully next fall to catch the changing leaves.) **I would also like to comment on the customer service. Everyone I had spoken with was very polite and professional. To say that the property manager thought of everything is an understatement. This property exceeded our expectations. Perfect getaway for two families with kids.
