We had an amazing time. By far our favorite we have ever rented. Mr. Lake Lure Team is wonderful, accommodating and very responsive. Would recommend this cabin and their rental company!

Location, Location, Location
Great location to enjoy the Broad River, Chimney Rock and if you're interested in leaving, other surrounding areas. My family and I enjoyed our time at the Chimney Rock River House. We not get enough of the flowing water and the peace it brought us but just being there with the family, taking it in and enjoying the time together was wonderful. I highly recommend this home.

Wonderful Experience!
This cabin was so perfect for our group...4 comfortable bedrooms and 4 separate spaces to hang out and then the deck is right on top of the river. And the rental company went overboard to make sure we were settled and happy. We hope to return again soon...so relaxing yet close to downtown. Everyone loved it!

Always a treat
This has been my second stay at the same property. It’s an older house and it’s not had many updates, but it is so charming. It’s beside of a brewery and across the street from a winery. The house it’s less than 50 feet from the broad river so when you sleep with the windows open, it’s incredible to listen to the sounds .All the shops and restaurants are less than 200 yards away. if you’re staying in town, you can put your keys away but it’s only 40 minutes to Asheville. please bring back the hammock down by the river back and I do miss the vinyl records on the back porch. this is a wonderful property. I do recommend it to everybody. We will definitely be back for 2023. Best Marshall family

We loved it!
We loved our stay at the River House! There was so much room for us to be together yet have alone time in the 4 bedrooms and on one of the magnificent porches or deck! We loved it being right on the river and so close to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure! We had a couple of little issues with the house but your representative, Cheyenne, was very sweet and kind! This was a great place for us to relax and have fun!

Fantastic location with room to sprawl out
Just a quick 3 minute walk along the river to get to chimney rock village shops, restaurants and access to play in the river. Home is much larger than expected with lots of room to sprawl out. 4 big king rooms with very firm mattress. Beautiful deck w/hot tub and grill right on the river. You can access and fish from backyard, but bring water shoes-very slippery rocks and your own beach towels to dry off after. Kitchen was small, but had most of what you needed, just remember your basics of oil, seasonings and groceries are just a 15 minute drive to Ingles. Burntshirt winery across the street is a must. Kids had a ball walking down to mini golf and ice cream too. Lake lure Beach is less than 10 minutes drive too. Definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful View
Loved our stay at the Chimney Rock River House. Most beautiful view and great access to the river. House was comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out and also room to hang out together. We will definitely visit again.

Incredible View
The location is amazing. So easy to walk to "town." The home is decorated so nicely and it's really well appointed. We thought the bed was firm, but it was very comfortable. Very clean! Easy check in/out. We did have some people walking through the side yard to get to and from the river. But they didn't bother anything and probably just didn't know any better. It was a great place to stay! We will come again! Other than an occasional motorcycle going past, it was very, very quiet. So relaxing! No problem with town sounds and being so close to the heart of town.

Perfect location
Fantastic views and location!! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the house had everything we needed. House was very clean and had plenty of room. Easy check in/out process. Will definitely be back!!

Amazing!!!
We absolutely loved staying at the Chimney Rock River House! We love the area and decided that we wanted to elopement in the Chimney rock/Lake Lure area. Open the window at night and fell asleep to the sound of the river. Beautiful views and lots to do. We could walk to everything pretty much. We can't wait to come back to stay again.

The Hubby, myself and two other couples had the best time at this house!! We danced to old records on the record player, stargazed in the hot tub and laughed by the fire put right on the river. View is amazing, beds are comfy, we will be back!

chimney view river house
We loved your cabin. It was so comfortable, and we loved the eclectic feel of all the furnishing. It was clean and had everything we needed. Although there were only three of us, it was clear to see that we could come back with more people and still have plenty of space with all the different places to sit and relax. We are thinking about doing just that. Setting it all with Mr. Lake Lure was so easy and talking and texting with them. We cannot think of one complaint. Chimney Rock River House
We have used Mr Lake Lure as our vacation destination for the past 5 years / and stayed at 4 of your houses. The Chimney Rock River House is the best location. I love that it is pet friendly and 4 bedrooms. We loved being able to walk into town. I loved being able to bring my dog, and our whole family - which is 8 people. We all loved the house , loved being able to bring the dog - loved being right at Chimney Rock. I’m a big fan of Last of the Mohicans fan - and being so close to everything was so cool. Our family loved this house. We would give it 10 stars if we could. I am going to rent this house again , for next year. You’ll see us again next year. Blessings , Kirsten

What a wonderful stay! Amazing location, can't beat being right on the river. The cabin was spacious and fit our party of 8 comfortably. We enjoyed the decor and the fully stocked kitchen. Hope to be back again next year! Note: there are some soft floorboards in the kitchen in front of the armoire that may need attention. We would have also loved a couple extra blankets and beach towels.

AWESOME SUMMER VACATION
This was our second stay at the Chimney Rock River House and just as pleased with the house as the first trip! The back porch sittin was awesome with all the wildlife around and listening to the river flowing was a relaxing sound to just rest. This place is wonderful for large families to relax and enjoy time together. The front porch is great for "people watching"!!! Hope to return soon

Thank you. The house is a little lacking in dishwares and supplies however what it lacks for in accommodations - the location always makes up for it. We love the river house for its private and amazing access to sit on the river rocks and wade in the waters. And the view of chimney rock is always breathtaking.

Simply perfect
This house was simply amazing, very clean and beautiful with a location that cannot be beat. I'm already planning my next visit, this was truly the most peaceful and wonderful house I've ever rented! We loved the location and the view no matter where you looked was breathtaking! We all loved hanging out by the river. The house was cozy and quaint for my family celebrating our Sister/Aunt/Cousins 60th Birthday. Our family traveled from Florida and Maryland and Ohio. Wr are planning on coming back next August to celebrate my 60th Birthday. it was awesome. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

We had a safe trip back home. Sure hated to leave - we had a GREAT week. Loved the house and especially the view and the river.  My husband is disabled and it would have been nice to have a handrail at the front entrance for him to use going up the steps. Thanks again - we would definitely rent this house again.

Wonderful rustic house on the river
The view is everything at the river house. The enclosed back porch was perfect for our winter visit. Cold and windy outside, but the view from inside was wonderful. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Hope to visit again when warmer so we can sit on the deck.

Wonderful Christmas
This location was perfect! Our crew (family/friends) were able to experience Chimney Rock right on the river with wonderful views of the Chimney Rock Park right from the back porch! Christmas at the Chimney Rock River House is a Christmas we will never forget. Staff of MrLL were AWESOME from reservations, maintenance all the way to cleaning staff. We hope to reserve again for the summer. Thank you all for the wonderful Christmas Vacation location!!!!

Everything about the stay was perfect. The cabin is located within a three minute walk of all the restaurants, shopping and entrance to chimney rock state park.. The house is wonderful with an old cabin feel but everything you need. We were up there with five people everybody had their own bedrooms and plenty of privacy. Campfire on the river or sitting back on the deck in the hot tub it just doesn’t get any better. Oh and the best thing it’s only about $30 more Per night than renting a hotel room. I will definitely be back! J&J Marshall

Perfect Location!!!!
Location is beautiful. House is an older home but very well appointed. Property managers very helpful and called to check on us before we arrived as we were running a little late. Also was having difficulty using keyless entry(our fault not the key pad) and someone with Mr.Lake Lure stopped to ask if he could help,just driving by. We did have a issue with one tub and they came out quickly but wasn't able to fix so had to get a plumber which it being a Saturday afternoon wasn't able to get one. We left next morning so not too big of inconvenience. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect mountain house
We had an amazing week at the river house! Great location - walk to brewery, winery, ice cream, mini golf and more! But really, the river was the main attraction. Kids and adults had fun in the water or just watching from the banks. Left a few tubes behind for others to enjoy!

Great spot
The location is absolutely fabulous. The river and mountain views can't be beat. The house accommodated a multi-generational family well. We loved the constant sound of the rushing river, playing in the river, and the easy access to the cute town of Chimney Rock. The older, vintage mountain cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen, while serviceable, could be better equipped. There was more than enough access to TVs/dvds to keep children occupied during downtime. We would definitely stay here again.

Chimney Rock River House
Beautiful cabin overlooking the river! The inside was very clean and comfortable. We loved the two sunrooms and the porch. We spent most of our time outside though enjoying the river. We definitely would book again.

Perfect!!!
We planned a trip to the mountains to celebrate my 50th birthday and the Chimney Rock River house was perfect for our party of 8. We had everything we needed and my adult children enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and especially the sun porch on the back of the house. The layout was ideal for a large party. We'll keep this in mind when back the area! Thanks!

The best choice!
My family and I always take a holiday trip to escape from all the noise and chaos of Miami. We always look for the mountain experience but somewhere that is accessible to sights and fun activities. This cabin provides the mountain pleasures while also keeping you comfortable. Plenty if room for a big family or cozy for a small group. We loved waking up to the view in the back porch and falling asleep to the sound of the river. Loved all the amenities and also exploring this little town. The locals are friendly and i recommend the bar next door, we had a couple of drinks and tried their chilli but most of all get eat conversation with the staff.

Recent Stay at Chimney Rock River House
Four sisters, 1 cousin and 1 great friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chimney Rock River House! The location is perfect for the sights and sounds of the river; privacy yet close to the village; and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding towns! The house has the charm of a cabin but with every modern convenience needed. December was a great month for a visit, but I would love to return to Chimney Rock River House in spring and fall! Picture perfect and unrivaled location
This picture perfect cabin in the Village of Chimney Rock exceeded expectations for comfort, function, and attention to detail. On the water at the foot of Chimney Rock State Park, with direct views of Hickory Nut Falls, calm and peaceful, but easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, we cannot wait to return for a quiet getaway or with friends and family.

A Gem
I traveled with 5 of my best friends for a weekend away and we were very happy and felt lucky to find such a sweet spot. The house was clean, spacious and well appointed. We lacked for nothing. The location is perfection. Highly recommend putting your feet in the river next door at the brewery while enjoying a delicious beverage. Please don't take up all the bookings so I can come back!!

Relax & Enjoy Nature
We loved the Chimney Rock River House! We spent a ton of time on the back deck listening to the river and enjoying the nature show - saw cranes & 2 duck couples. We loved how the house had many different spots for us to relax, watch TV, or read a book. It was me, my sister, and my parents (ages 45 to 73). Also loved the authentic mountain house feel. And being able to walk to Chimney Rock Village was wonderful! Only deducted 1 star because the beds were too firm, and the super curvy mountain roads meant we only ventured out to Asheville area during the day (we are from the coast / flat land!).

Location!
This was the perfect place for our group. We loved where the house was in regards to downtown and visibility of chimney rock The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless and the living rooms were fairly clean. The office staff was very kind and helpful when I called and visited. We hope to visit this home again! We had a great trip.

Wonderful location. All necessities available. Had trouble with Tv and dvd. Beds kind of lumpy. Some large animal empties and strewn garbage three nights in a row. All in all was a great vacation. Looking forward to returning summer after summer. Thank you. Pam.

great house and perfect location
This was a great house and we highly recommend it for families or friends. 4 bedrooms with super comfy beds (and I loved the sheets). 2 bathrooms--both are compact but work just fine. The kitchen was well equipped as was the whole house. The air conditioning worked GREAT. Loved the ceiling fans with remote controls. The furniture was awesome--very comfy. There was internet, cable, lots of movies, a game system, and lots of board games. The house is right on the river and you can fish off the rocks. There is a hot tub (we didn't use it) and outdoor and enclosed porches. The house is withing walking distance to the downtown Chimney Rock area with its restaurants, shopping, putt putt, and Hershey's ice cream shop (daily walks there for sure). It is 5 minutes to Lake Lure. We highly recommend doing the pontoon boat tour. Also the Lake Lure visitor center has great information about Dirty Dancing locals. We enjoyed the flowering bridge, going to the top of Chimney Rock, hiking some of the trails at Chimney Rock, and fishing on the lake with some local fishing guides. Great place to stay in a relaxing location. Highly recommend.

Chimney Rock River House
The house and location was awesome. We all slept like a log! The teenagers enjoyed playing in the riverfloating and climbing on the rocks. Couldn't have picked a better place!  All in all a wonderful trip!

Girls weekend
The house provided everything we needed for cooking & spending time together. The river rushing by at the back of the house was magical. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though the weekend weather was stormy. Only room for improvement was we could not figure out how to get hot water in one of the showers, but we also didn’t try calling for maintenance and just used the other one. Was very happy with all the little dish soaps, towels, etc the renters provided.

Best Place Ever
We came to Chimney rock after our stay in a nice cabin in the Smokies. We thought we had a fantastic cabin in the Smokies, but oh boy this place surpassed all of our expectations. The views of a river and mountains are to die for, you have your own private access to the river. Everything from the front door to the back yard was spotlessly clean and well thought of. The house has everything you would ever need and then some. Plenty of common places with the incredible interiors. The outside hot tub was fantastic and very clean. Make sure you plan for enough time to stay and enjoy the house apart from exploring the Chimney Rock. Overall, it was a mesmerizing experience and the best place I have ever stayed through Airbnb.”

Had everything we needed. Awesome location! Loved being by the river and so close to restaurants for morning cinnamon rolls and evening drinks. Great view of Chimney Rock! We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch. Relaxing in the hammock, the hot tub, and on the rocks on the river was lovely. The lighting in the living areas was dim, which was our only small drawback of our stay. This place had absolutely everything we could want. We hope to be able to come back again!

A piece of heaven...
We had a very unique and amazing holiday in a welcoming and character full home with a lovely atmosphere. The home has everything what you will ever need for a relaxing holiday. The area around Chimney Rock offers a variety of everything and the best part is, that everything is in walkable distance. Sitting in the hottub and listening to the sound of the river and the looking at Chimney Rock mountain are very special and will always be in our memories. We def. will come back...
