Just a short drive thru the lush foliage of this community with paved roads, and you approach Chalet Vie at Lake Lure.
The level circular drive makes unpacking luggage and groceries easy. Only five steps to the main level is ideal for family members of all ages. The full length covered front porch has comfortable seating for hours of conversation or reading. As you enter the front door, the unique and tasteful décor pulls you right in. Recent aesthetic renovations make this home feel like new. Soaring vaulted ceilings with skylights creates an inviting environment.
The deep sofa and two comfortable side chairs are the perfect place to enjoy the stone gas FIREPLACE or large flat screen SMART TV. An open floorplan keeps your group connected. Steps away is a kitchen with everything you need for meal preparation. It features kitchen island with seating, ample counter space, gas cooktop stove, gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker.
Choose from inside or outside dining, connected by glass doors. Inside is a formal dining room with table and six chairs. Just outside on the deck is a table with umbrella and four chairs. Close by is a GAS GRILL, convenient for serving meals inside or out. After dinner gather the group around the FIRE PIT in the back yard.
The Master Bedroom is on the main level featuring king size bed, two nightstands with reading lights, flat screen SMART TV, ceiling fan and closet. During the day, open the large windows to bring nature in. A full private Master Bathroom has tile walk-in shower, dual vanities, lots of drawer space, and a stackable WASHER and DRYER.
Upstairs is a Guest Room with king size bed, two nightstands with drawers and reading lights, ceiling fan, and closet. The oversized loft serves as the third sleeping area with a bunk bed which has a full-size mattress on the bottom and a twin on top. There is also a small desk area if you need to work while on vacation. Completing the upper level is a full-size bathroom with tub and shower, and dual vanities.
The best part, Chalet Vie at Lake Lure is DOG FRIENDLY. The large front and rear yards are fenced and level, perfect for canine exploring. While every effort has been made to secure the yard with wire fencing, it’s always best to keep a close eye on your dogs so they don’t decide to escape and chase the local wildlife!

Cabin Crew before “I do”
What an amazing property! Absolutely gorgeous and such a serene setting. The inside is decorated to the nines and super cozy. Plenty of space for a large group and all of the beds were so cozy! The place is stocked with everything you need to cook, have game night, fire in the back yard, clean hot tub… couldn't imagine a more perfect place for a little mountain getaway. Wonderful Stay!
I spent the weekend here with 9 girlfriends and we had such a great time! Pictures don't do this cabin justice. Loved the hottube and firepit, the kitchen was stocked with pans for us to cook all weekend and was very clean. Beautiful Cabin in the Woods!
We love our stay at this gorgeous cabin! Perfectly nestled in the woods and decorated to be cozy and charming. The wide front porch was so nice to sit and relax on and watch the rain. The kitchen was really nice and open and well equipped for all our cooking and entertaining needs. The master bed was super comfy and the master bathroom was really large, easy for a big group to share. We loved using the hot tub too! Perfect getaway cabin!
We had an amazing getaway weekend celebrating a friend's bachelorette, and this cabin was absolutely perfect! The spacious kitchen and semi-open floor plan make the living spaces ideal for hanging out, eating together, crafting, and playing games. The front porch offers tons of space for everyone to sit together and relax, and the nature surrounding the cabin is beautiful and peaceful. The bed in the second upstairs bedroom is super comfortable, and the downstairs shower has fantastic water pressure. Plus, the proximity to Lake Lure is perfect for a pontooning day. Gorgeous Lake House
Absolutely gorgeous lake house in Lake Lure. I spent a weekend here with about eight other people and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is large and well appointed so we were able to make a great dinner. Also the hot tub was absolute heaven!
