Our Stay at Lake Lure
We loved our stay at Broad River Roost, and I love that they are dog-friendly, as we never travel without our pug. There were 7 of us, and we stayed 7 nights. I LOVED the stairs that took us directly to the river, and so did my pug. We went with friends who stayed on the top floor, which was more of a den than a bedroom; it didn't have a door, so it lacked privacy, and they had a half bath (sink and toilet, no shower). But it had a desk, and one of them had to work a few days, so it served that purpose. The bottom floor was very spacious; it was like an apartment on its own, with a large sitting area, a breakfast table, four bunk beds, and its own bathroom; this area was perfect for kids. It also has a TV, games, and an air hockey table. I would love to see this area after the town has been fully recovered from Hurricane Helene. Also, if you are staying here, it's ideal to drive a 4x4. If it rains, a regular car will struggle to get out of the parking area (the hill is steep, and it can become slippery when wet).

A Perfect Riverview Escape
My family's recent stay at this charming cabin nestled right by the river in was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the soothing sound of the river flowing just steps from our door. We came to disconnect in nature and this location was spot on. The cabin itself was incredibly cozy and well-appointed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature and enjoying our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water and seeing wildlife is the kind of weekend we needed! The location is truly unbeatable. Being so close to the river allowed for easy access to fishing and simply unwinding by the water. Plus, the cabin's proximity to Lake Lure meant we were just a short drive from Chimney Rock and Restaurants. Even with Post-Helene efforts we enjoyed interacting with locals and supporting our WNC friends. If you're looking for a peaceful, picturesque, and perfectly located retreat in the Lake Lure area, I highly recommend Broad River Roost as your stay. It's the ideal spot to disconnect, recharge, and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. We can't wait to come back

This place is amazing!!
We LOVED staying here and will definitely be doing so again soon!! Super private, peaceful and relaxing. Although FEMA was working on the waterfront area the kids enjoyed watching the big equipment at work & it didn't seem to bother the fish!! I highly recommend this place - so very worth the trip!! Cheers!!!

The best place we've stayed in Lake Lure!
Broad River Roost is a true gem and by far the best-kept secret in Lake Lure! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the boho chic cabin decor and the unbeatable river views. The Broad River right in your backyard is the ultimate playground - whether you’re fishing, tubing, or just relaxing by the water, you have it all right here! A highlight of our stay was starting our tubing adventure at the community swimming hole and drifting back to the cabin, about a 45-minute ride! The top deck offers spectacular views of the river, where we could even see trout swimming below! The clean and well-stocked kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. The game room was a hit with our group, perfect for cozy evenings of board games, air hockey, and movie nights. If you’re looking for a (dog-friendly!) getaway that combines relaxation and adventure, Broad River Roost is the place to be. We can’t recommend it enough. We've been coming to the area for the last 14 years, and it’s truly the best place we’ve stayed in Lake Lure!

Three Day Stay
We enjoyed our stay. A couple of things that would have made it a 5 star was that there were no hangars and a more visible sign for the driveway would be nice.
